PEWANI is the Women's Association of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) which is an association for the staff of UiTM staff and women. PEWANI was established on the basis of maintaining the welfare and giving of staff to staff and wives of staff at UiTM. The purpose of the PEWANI established is to bridge the goodwill and unite the staff of the University's women and wives at all levels of service.
In addition to promoting and managing charitable work through donations and other financial resources for the benefit of members and their families as well as the public. It can also establish close relationships and cooperation with other registered women's associations in the country to foster a sense of understanding and increase knowledge on what benefits the Society. Even PEWANI can raise awareness amongst members of the importance, roles and responsibilities of women in elevating the image of the University and the country.
