The Student Affairs Department has two major responsibilities which include student service and student development. Student service covers all matters related to accommodation, food, welfare, financial aids, and others. Meanwhile, student development involves planning student activities, personality development, co-curricular activities, sports development, career and counseling assistance, as well as religious development.

Main Functions
1. Provide accommodation and food for hostel students.
2. Arrange students’ interrelation with UiTM administration, higher learning institutions, government and private agencies, other organizations and individual parties
3. Supervise students’ activities in various aspects, such as religious, intellectual, leadership, cultural, sports, business and social.
4. Advice students to obtain suitable financial aids, such as student funds, scholarships and loans
5. Manage the process of acquiring students’ financial aids, such as student funds, scholarships and loans
6. Maintain a peaceful surrounding in and outside campus with the implementation of Act 174, Learning Institutions Act (Discipline) 1976
