| The field of social science is expanding by the day and this requires a synergetic integration among its practitioners; academia and scholars worldwide. Due to this reality, the Department of Administrative Science and Policy Studies UiTM Kedah plans to organize the 1st Conference of Public Policy and Social Science 2010 (ICoPS 2010). ICoPS 2010 is initiated as an effort to augment the field of social science among local and international academicians. |

| More than 150 participants are expected to be part of the first ICoPS 2010 and this would likely include local presenters as well as international presenters and participants from universities, colleges and also independent researchers. ICoPS 2010 to be held on 26th and 27th of May 2010 is viewed as a start for a more comprehensive endeavor in the future. |
